I work with individuals, couples, parents, families and children to develop a therapeutic relationship based on their needs and goals. Through this process clients get to know themselves better in a safe and supportive environment. I consider therapy a collaborative process that offers unique opportunities to manifest your ideal self through honesty and trust. I draw from the varied types of training and experience I have to find what works best for you and I create a safe space so you can explore the emotions that arise from difficult and painful experiences. I support couples and families in developing empathy, trust, and healthy communication so that interactions become more connected and thoughtful.
I have a strong foundation in mindfulness practices and I integrate these highly effective tools into our co-created commitment to your development. The ability to remain present to your own experience and emotion lies at the heart of healing.
My training and experience make me uniquely qualified to support you in working through difficult experiences that have led to anxiety, depression or any other trauma response. I provide trauma informed care, along with EMDR, EFT (tapping), and Prolonged Exposure to help you process those difficult experiences when appropriate. I create an environment that feels supportive, gentle, and authentic so that you can bring your entire self into the therapeutic relationship.
Relationships are the most important aspect of our lives and I will guide you through learning how to communicate gently and effectively while conveying empathy, whether it's with your partner, child, or family.
